Seeing how far we’ve come since our first plans makes this moment even more special. None of this would’ve been possible without the dedication of our amazing team, who turned months of planning into something truly exciting.

It is my distinct honour to welcome you to YFLMUN. As Secretary-General, I am proud to present a conference built on cooperation, diplomacy, and the belief that young people can shape meaningful change in our world.
Throughout this conference, you will engage with complex global issues, sharpen your diplomatic skills, and collaborate with fellow delegates from diverse backgrounds. Each committee has been designed to encourage thoughtful debate, creative problem-solving, and the pursuit of consensus — values at the heart of the United Nations.
Behind the scenes, our Secretariat and Organising Team have worked tirelessly to ensure that this event provides not only engaging debate, but also a welcoming and inspiring environment for all participants. I am deeply grateful for their dedication — and for the enthusiasm each of you brings by choosing to be part of this experience.
I encourage every delegate to approach this opportunity with an open mind, a willingness to collaborate, and the confidence to voice your ideas.
